There’s something about Northern Michigan water—it makes you slow down in the best way. The light feels softer, the air cleaner, and for a while, everything else fades out.
That’s the idea behind Apples & Anchors.
We’re Jason and Christie Apple—partners in life and on the water. We created this charter to offer something intentional: not crowded, not rushed, just a beautifully paced experience.
From the Indian River to Burt and Mullett Lake, through the Cheboygan River and toward the Straits of Mackinac, these are waters we know and love. Every route is chosen with care—based on wind, light, and feel—so your time unfolds naturally.
Jason is a U.S. Coast Guard Certified Captain, focused on safety and a steady hand at the helm. Christie brings thoughtful hospitality and attention to detail, creating an experience that feels elevated yet relaxed.
Together, we host up to six guests for a charter that feels personal, calm, and refined.
Whether you’re celebrating or simply taking time to reconnect, our goal is simple:
slow down, take it in, and enjoy the moment.
